The WORD and THE SWORD is a live TV broadcast show that airs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Each year we have chosen a theme that builds from the first show to the twenty fouth show - with a few OPEN FORUMS added to allow our viewers more time to ask those all important Biblical questions.

What this website will allow us to do is to take the broadcast through out the world with Windows Media Player Video See where you can view the show live in the 16 counties of North Carolina!

 2010 - A STUDY OF CREATION and EVOLUTION.

The THEME for this year will cover major points of the controversy over the teachings of Creationism or the Theories of Evolution. The Lessons during this year will focus on Fact or Fiction. Videos 1-24 of these shows will be available on our Video Page a day or so after the show airs.Powerpoint files will also be available the night before the show airs.

2009 - A STUDY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

The THEME for this year will cover major points of the study on the Holy Spirit. Once again this show will focus of the teaching of the Word of God and not the teachings of men. Videos 1-24 of these shows are available on our Video Page. All Powerpoint files are also now available for the entire study on the Holy Spirit. 

2008 - "Doctrines and Denominations - where did they all come from?"

The THEME for this year will cover the major Denominations and once again it will be contrasted with The Word of God.  Powerpoint files are now  available and will remain available for download.

THE THEME of 2007 was "Why we believe".  This series dealt with the evidences that exist for our faith and the trust that we have in the revealed Word of God. Powerpoint files are now available for download.

2006 - Major World Religions Contrasted with God's Word

THE THEME of 2006 was "World Religions".   It is impossible to cover every aspect of every religion but, what we tried to do is cover the major world religions and compare them to the Word of God.  Powerpoint files are now available for download.

2005 - Ask Your Preacher / Pastor or Priest a series of Important Questions.

THE THEME of 2005 was Ask Your Preacher/Pastor and Priest.  This series centered on asking some important questions with regards to religion. Powerpoint files are now available for download.

- "I Will Build My Church" - Matthew 16:18 ..... A Study of the N.T. Church.

THE THEME of 2004 was "I Will Build My Church".   This study looked at the various descriptions of the New Testament church, the doctrines, the organization and the work.Powerpoint files are now available for download.

- "Investigate the Truth of ...." Nothing suffers from investigation except error.
